/lib/modules/2.6.18-92.el5/build: No such file

Hi friends,
I am trying to add new rules to iptable. I have installed centos.installed gcc, c++, kernel-devel etc
but while trying to run the code I am getting this error.
There are some codes about iptables, to add these rules I have to run a make file. When I tried to run make the error occurred . Any help is appreciated
root@localhost codes]# make
make: *** /lib/modules/2.6.18-92.el5/build: No such file or directory. Stop.
make: *** [modules] Error 2

What this error, how can I make it run. Do I have to change the kernelk version ???

It seems that you are not running the newest edition of the kernel?

Is there any specific reason for this? If not try running:

su -c 'yum update kernel*'

To update to the newest kernel.
Then reboot, install the kernel-headers again and run make again.

If you have a reason to stay with the older edition of the kernel you must download and install the package manually. Link to headers
for your kernel(If you use 64-bit, be aware that you must get the 64-bit edition):

http://rpm.pbone.net/index.php3/stat....i686.rpm.html

And then install it manually.
