LFS - Not finding file or directory

Hi,

I’m trying to go through the process using lfslivecd-x86-6.3-r2145-min.iso as the host.

I’m successfully following the instructions up to 5.4.1. Installation of Binutils.

When I arrive to the command “CC="gcc -B/usr/bin/" ../binutils-2.18/configure \ --prefix=/tools --disable-nls --disable-werror” I am getting an error that the file or directory doesn’t exists … which it doesn’t.

Can anyone tell me what I'm missing?

Thanks

Not without you posting the exact error message. Please read section 1.5 of the book so you will know what to include in your request for help.
