Lexmark Z605
 

Hi,
I need a driver for a Lexmark Z605 for Mandrake 9.2.
I know that one exists for Redhat, and I know there are resources to "make" your own driver for your specific distro. Since I am relatively new to Linux, I have NO idea how to do this. If there is someone out there who has this distro, and printer, could you let me know where I might find a driver ? Thanks.

goto www.linuxprinting.org and see what it says about your printer. It has tutorials and drivers for all different types of printers, and a listing to see if your printer is supported

I too have a Lexmark Z605. my advice is use it for a doorstop or fishing sinker. it is possibly the worst printer i have ever had for ink usage.
i have searched for drivers but the 605 is not even listed on most databases.
