lexar jump drive not working with linux
 
i recently bought a lexar jump drive and it plugs into my usb. it works fine with my windows but when i start up linux nothing happens. when linux is starting up though it says that usb interface failed. i take it that has something to do with why it won't work. can anyone help me?

First stop is checking the /var/log/messages for any messages when you plug it in.
It is, of course important to note any errors that the kernel gave off while starting up. No USB running, no lexar usb device working.
What does messages show when you attach it?
