If I bought a powerpack disc.

Is it legal to distribute my powerpack 10.1 disc to my friends.

How abt if i don't give them the disk and just install it in their system?

No it isn't.
Read the Mandrake license about the power pack CD's.

The only "free" cd's are the first 3. Logic follows this even when you want to download it from there website. They only offer the first 3 cd's.

But how abt installing on my friends system

I still dont think thats legal since Mandrake makes a profit to pay its employees to develop or maintain software for Mandrake.

Do what your concious says. If you think its not legal then it most likely isn't.

Shortly stated, you cannot, because that cd, or those cds, have 3rd-party licenses that are not the GPL or similar, and may prohibit the distribution/copying/selling, just as sgrayban stated.
