ldap user authentication for samba share


- I have samba server and ldap server both on different machine. I want to authenticate all the ldap user on samba share to giving access permission for user's on share. I have refer too many document for that but I am unable to access share with ldap user's username and password. I have referred below link

Hi Lokesh

PAM (the password authentication module) is actually the mechanism that handles the authentication hand-off, looking at the Samba wiki is had you install/configure PAM as part of the process. Did that produce any errors? Any output different than what you were told to expect by the wiki?

How to configure PAM? Is it install through package manager ?

In the unixmen link, it's part of the initial configuration of LDAP.

Please help me in troubleshooting. How to check all user are authenticated in samba ?
getent passwd command show all ldap user password but giving access to samba share not work.
