Ldap error "ldap_sasl_interactive_bind_s: Invalid credentials (49)"

Hi,

I installed openLdap on a debian machine for some testing.
I followed the instructions here.

http://www.debian-administration.org...ap-initial-cfg

Now when I try to do any thing it prompt me for password Which I do remember correctly.
However it comes back with error.

Code:
~# ldapsearch cn=admin
SASL/DIGEST-MD5 authentication started
Please enter your password:
ldap_sasl_interactive_bind_s: Invalid credentials (49)

Any ideas?

Thanks.

Try
Code:
ldapsearch -x cn=admin
'-x' = simple authentication. (vs SASL)
