Hi
I'm using Fedora Core 2. I have access to X-windows, KDE or GNOME. I'm not getting good results at the command line. While in /home/tsynergy/firefox-installer I typed the name of the file expecting it to launch but it doesn't. The file (celtx.xpi, profile name -->czrl713t.celtx) of course was extracted into the firefox-installer folder. Here are som of the result from the command line: [tsynergy@localhost tsynergy]$ cd celtx.xpi bash: cd: celtx.xpi: Not a directory [tsynergy@localhost tsynergy]$ celtx bash: celtx: command not found [tsynergy@localhost tsynergy]$ -P celtx bash: -P: command not found [tsynergy@localhost tsynergy]$ -P celtx.xpi bash: -P: command not found Just want to be able to aunch the application. Thanks. |
Where is the firefox-installer appliction?
|
Hi
The firefox-installer application is located in /home/tsynergy' its path is /home/tsynergy/firefox-installer. The program that I would like to launch was exported into the firefox-installer folder. I suspect there is a general method of launching any program from either command line or via GUI. Can't seem to find the command and not sure how to activate the GUI. |
Do you mean the folder is /home/tsynergy/firefox-installer?
Try running: /home/tsynergy/firefox-installer/firefox-installer |
