Angry Latest ubuntu wireless will not let me run emesenne


I am running the latest ubuntu on my toshiba l500 laptop but if i connect to bt homehub using wireless none of the msn chat clients will connect, it is fine if i use wired connection or even if i connect wirelessly to the bt fon acess point just not with the one i use all the time

Your posting is rather confusing, but, if you can connect wirelessly through one point and not another, it seems that the issue may be the access point and not Ubuntu. I would double check the wireless on what you called "bt homehub".
