laptop monitor + 2 more monitors splitter config
Hello all.
I have a Toshiba satellite with ATI Mobility Radeon HD 2400. I have bought a VGA splitter and intend to use it to plug this laptop to 2 more screens. I used to plug 1 extra screen and there was no problem, ubuntu autodetected and worked. However, I have now plugged 2 monitors via the splitter cable and the 2 monitors display the same image. The image is optimized for the bigger [Samsung Syncmaster BX2331] Sam monitor. The 2 monitors are: Samsung Syncmaster BX2331 Samsung Syncmaster 710n I must make an effort to solve this issue because alot is at stake and at this point I would like to assure that I will try all suggestions for I desperately need this to work. Thankyou in advance =) Edit: I have seen severa l other posts related to this issue and it seems that my graphics card only allows for 2 displays. Is there a way of still configuring for 3? output of xrandr: Quote:

I am sorry for the trouble, I have given up on this issue because it just seems to me that the graphics card is just not meant to work with 2 monitors apart from the laptop via a splitter cable. Therefore this thread is solved.
