Laptop battery issue

whenever i logged into ubuntu, i get the message that Battery may be broken |
Your battery has a very low capacity | 25% is remaining only.

Please let me know why i get this message & how to fix this.

You could boot from a live CD and see if the problem persist.
Perhaps the battery is defective.
