Yeah, I have to agree with Mara. Fedix, don't worry about people not being nice, of the 314 posts I've made, this is the only time someone was rude to me, some people just have bad days. This is a great site, a great resource, and the folks here who monitor the forums have really helped me out when I couldn't find an answer for myself, or when I needed advice based on experience with Linux (which I don't have either).

thanks rjo. now I also understand the difference. have been using xampp, wampp, apache2triad (which apparently will not be available anymore - pitty), lampp...stupidly thought its one and the same thing
