Kubuntu10.04, partition access permissions
Every time I boot my Kubuntu, I get a dialog box, actually like 9 of them, each ask me for my password. The box is titled with "KDE Sudo"
I am sure that these are for mounting of my 9 (approx) other partitions. How can I have full permissions to each partition, having them automatically mount at each booting? This will teach me a lot, but I still need step-by-step instructions. Thank you, community. |
Hello,
do you want to mount the patitions for you other distributions automatically or not at all? Could you please post the /etc/fstab file of your Kubuntu? Markus |
"KDE sudo" dialog box also display cammand to execute. Can you write these commands?
|
Marc, yes I dont mind mounting partitions with other OS's. There are actually 11 dialog pop ups...
Also, importantly, I don't remember how to show the fstab. I will look it up, or maybe you can post the command...? |
