Arrow Kubuntu 11.04, FF/Adobe Flash plugin does not install

Toshiba Satellite, P755 series laptop,
dual-boot w/Win7,
6GB ram
Kubuntu 11.04 64-bit
Firefox 7.0.1

For every install of Kubuntu 11.04, out of 4, I have had the same persistent and extremely frustrating Adobe Flash problem. I get the update message from Firefox, and follow the prompts to install it, but it never ever works. I never get an error message.

I have searched LQ and Kubuntu Forums for the remedy. No luck.

Please help

Hello,

You may have to install it via your package manager instead. You may also have to enable a third party repository, not sure though. But that's on the side note; After you installed via adobe's website, go to aboutlugins and see if anything is even being loaded.

Cheers,

Josh

Yea I already tried many times via package manager. No help.

Also, I ended the FF session, and restarted computer. I expected that to help.
