Kppp

Hi all,
Each time I want to connect to my ISP, I have to go to Mandrake Control Center and configure my modem to get into KPPP.
It is not in the remote access area. When I disconnect that will be the end of it. It works great as long as I stay connected.
Any Ideas???
Thanks in advance,
digger

I had a similar problem (or I think I had) are you saying that every time you want to connect to the internet you have to access Mandy controle center?

Well if thats your problem then just right click on your desktop create a new link to a app. In the execute command box (thrid tab I think) click browse then go to usr/bin/ and choose the kppp app.

Hope that will help you...

Doesn't Mandrake use KDE? If so, in the lower right corner in the task bar is a little symbol like a power line with a plug. Click on that to start dialling.

In other words, are your settings really lost?
