Kpackage/software Install
 

I downloaded guarddog and f-prot and installed using kpackage.Now I found guarddog but went through the applications and find nothing of f-prot.Yes newbie here pulling his hair our but loving it

hmm. looks odd. try rpm -qa | grep fprot and check whether it returns anything at all. try doing it in the command line

rpm -ivh package name

btw clam antivirus is a good gpl'ed(Free) alternative
