konqueror installation
 
i have installed konqueror browser on my fedora15 but i didnt get the browser icon to use it. how to open the installed konqreror browser

Has it shown up in the menu, probably in Internet or System Tools? If so, you can drag the menu entry and drop it on the desktop to give a desktop launcher, which I presume was what you wanted. If it hasn't appeared in the menu, come back and tell us and I'll tell you how to solve that problem.

konqueror
 
no am unable to see konqueror icon in system tools but when i run(double click) the konqueror rpm's its showing that this file already installed

Try this:

ALT+F2

and type the program name. You don't need icons in Linux.

You are welcome. Just in case anyone else finds this, and the URL I cited disappears, then it read as follows:

Fedora 15 - Gnome.

# yum install kdebase : Will provide /usr/bin/konqueror .
There is no package konqueror for any Fedora.
A random / alien rpm package : May not provide an Icon.

Assume Gnome 3 :
There is a search field. Type ko : The konqueror Icon appears.

It provides various applications, infrastructure files and libraries for the K Desktop Environment.
