Kodak ESP7 with Ubuntu 11.10

I have used this printer with previous versions of Ubuntu but cannot get it to work with the latest either using the bundled drivers or the latest from source forge.

When I try to print the printer shows 'printing' and then just 'hunts' until I give up.

I have run out of ideas and would value any help

Well - I've sort of fixed this one. I've given the printer to a delighted granddaughter (who is still on the dark side - windows).

The fix is don't buy Kodak products - should have stayed with HP.
