Can't load and run software disk in Fed core 6 because it's 'for Win and Mac only' however can't view or access pictures when connected USB. How can I access or resolve issues to allow viewing etc. in GIMP?

I have an EasyShare CX6200 which works well. You need to install gphoto2 to handle the connection. I use digikam as the gui frontend for gphoto2. Do a Google search for howto's on gphoto2 Kodak.
