how do I install Kodak Scanner esp c310 on linux ubuntu 13.04

This thread from the Ubuntu Forums is kind of old, but it indicates that Linux support from Kodak for this printer is somewhat lacking:

There is a project on Sourceforge for Kodak printer drivers. It might be useful, but I have no way of testing it.

Frankly, it doesn't look very promising.

I have a Kodak printer esp 3.2 running on Lubuntu 13.04. I am using the c310 driver to make it work. I downloaded, installed and started cups. Then in a terminal I typed "sudo apt-get install printer-driver-c2esp". this installed quite a few Kodak drivers. One of them was c310. Hope this helps.
