The 4.7 MB binary package gpsr-keliu-ns-2.34-ubuntu10_i386.deb
will only provide ns* and the files required to run ns*.

The data : Suggest gpsr-KeLiu-patched-ns234.tar.gz, 14 MB
https://docs.google.com/file/d/0B7S2...it?usp=sharing

so see config.log (or post it). Probably you need to install additional packages, like c compiler.

A compiler must be installed to work.
You can check gcc41 / g++41 with : $ which g++41

But why do you want to build another file "ns(-gpsr-k)" ? ?
! That's the only result you will get from ./install : One file = ns .

Using "wireless-gpsr.tcl" : 1) $ cd ns-2.34/tcl/
2) $ ns-gpsr-k wireless-gpsr.tcl

Dear sants: there are many knowledgable members of this forum. I understand that you like the answers of knudfl, but asking in a title for a specific member limits the number of persons who are going to look into the thread. Please consider a more descriptive title next time.
