OK
the puppy syslinux.cfg is in the boot/syslinux folder

is puppy still in newcd folder or in usb?
there is a boot folder somewhere, and a syslinux folder inside that
inside syslinux folder is syslinux.cfg
open both your knoppix and puppy syslinux.cfg's in leafpad
add the puppy entries to your knoppix syslinux.cfg
save it and delete any other syslinux.cfg(like in /boot/syslinux)

your layout with puppy and knoppix should look like this
this is usb
Code:
/media/KINGSTON/syslinux.cfg
/media/KINGSTON/minirt.gz
/media/KINGSTON/memtest
/media/KINGSTON/memdisk
/media/KINGSTON/logo.16
/media/KINGSTON/linux
/media/KINGSTON/ldlinux.sys
/media/KINGSTON/knoppix.odt
/media/KINGSTON/german.kbd
/media/KINGSTON/f3
/media/KINGSTON/f2
/media/KINGSTON/boot.msg
/media/KINGSTON/balder.img
/media/KINGSTON/My Documents
/media/KINGSTON/KNOPPIX
/media/KINGSTON/Desktop
/media/KINGSTON/vmlinuz
/media/KINGSTON/pup_412R-beta.sfs
/media/KINGSTON/plpbt
/media/KINGSTON/isolinux.cfg
/media/KINGSTON/isolinux.bin
/media/KINGSTON/initrd.gz
/media/KINGSTON/pup-boot.msg
/media/KINGSTON/chntpw
/media/KINGSTON/boot
/media/KINGSTON/[BOOT]
tell me if that works?

Can't find pup/boot.msg. This looks like where it could be but not the exact wording and I have a [BOOT] folder and a boot.
I did not think about Page 2 when waiting for your last reply.

Look
this is really simple
the text you just posted above is the syslinux.cfg from rescuepup

Now, just add your knoppix syslinux.cfg Entries and you can boot all of them

So, you need to add something like this

example knoppix entry

Code:
LABEL knoppix1
MENU LABEL KNOPPIX 6.0
TEXT HELP
* Knoppix 6.0
ENDTEXT
KERNEL /linux
APPEND initrd=/minirt.gz add-your-appends-here
so, where is your knoppix syslinux.cfg?
all you gotta do is add your knoppix entries to the puppy syslinux.cfg
