Kmail Dropping letters????

As of late:

I've noticed that Kmail is dropping letters here and there. It's NOT on every email and then it may be two or three letters gone out of several words. At first, I thought it was from a particular person/newsletter that I get, but now it's all over. Also, this morning I got a newsletter that only the header would show up....but the scroll bar kept moving as if it was downloading all the email??

Any ideas....any would be greatly appreciated..
