If you have more than one account in kmail how do you show that on new messages. I do not see where one can change that. Is it automatically entered?

1.
create a folder for the account

2.
"Settings" menu->"Configure KMail"->"Accounts"
choose the account and click on "Modify..."
In the "General" tab change the "Destination folder" from inbox to the new folder

I am sorry I do not understand your answer. Maybe I did not state my question clear. How do you put the FROM in new messages you send out. My form that I have shows only who the message is going to.

i thought you want to know which email box you received a message from.

did you mean when you compose a message?
you can choose View->From

or in the messages list?
right click on the columns and ass the receiver column...

From what I recall on older versions of Kmail when I briefly used it, when you had multiple accounts, it actually had a dropdown of who you wanted to send from within the new message.

I do not have a From on my new message format. I have a To and a down pointing triangle that changes to cc or bcc when you click on it. I also have a Subject line.

I found From. It is a dropdown when one clicks on View. Sorry for the inconvenience.

I have another question. I have two accounts but only one account is accounted for on the From line. How do I get the other one to display?
