Kindly share good resources for studying GNU/Linux(esp Slackware)
 

Hi,
I have recently shifted from FreeBSD to Linux side(mainly to learn new OS.)I have previously also tried various distros, but Slackware appears best for me. However what I feel lack of is the good books or documentation as compared to FreeBSD. To be particular although Slackbook exist but its too less as compared to FreeBSD handbook(including developers' handbook too). Also texts like absolute freebsd, complete freebsd teach from basic to right to running servers, security etc. As my exposure to linux is quite less I might be missing some good resources.
Kindly do guide me some good resources (mainly books) covering topics like :
1.Running Servers, setting firewall etc.
2.Editing various config file, kernel tweaking
3.System & Kernel development.
I shall be highly thankful to you. Also I will be also simultaneously searching on net and forums and shall post my findings here.

Linux, General: Rute Linux Tutorial, "Linux Cookbook" (book), Advanced Bash Scripting Guide.

System and Kernel Development: "Understanding the Linux Kernel" and "Linux Device Drivers" (both books)

Will checkout these and those mentioned by jrtayloriv in local bookstore and library tomorrow.
My intent was to have a central resource for links/texts related to GNU/Linux like that to FreeBSD. Still if my topic was too general or unclear, I apologize.
