kinda global aliases?
Hey look, it's that RedHat9-:newbie: again :)
Um, is there any way that I can configure command aliases that are valid for all users? E.g. I'd like to use "e" to start emacs no matter whether I am root or myself or working on someone else's account. And I'd prefer a single change over editing 27 different ini-files. |
If you're using bash, you can add commands to be executed on shell startup in /etc/profile.
