kickstart RH7.2

Please don't tell me to use RH X.Y; RH 7.2 is the supported platform for the software we run.

I followed the instructions in Network-Install-HOWTO and Redhat Linux Kickstart HOWTO. I set up a ks.cfg file, boot from floppy and type linux ks=floppy at the sysconfig prompt. The file is ks.cfg and it is in / on the floppy. When I boot, it begins the normal install process, asking me for lang, kbd type, etc. What could I be doing wrong?

Can someone point me to a "working" ks.cfg file?

Thanks,
Shelley

Hi Shelley,

Attached it a working ks.cfg file that I made. I've been using this file for about 3 months, 2 or 3 times a week.

It is made for RH7.2

The above are the exact contents of my ks.cfg file on my floppy, apart from the '=====' obviously. If you want to PM me your email address I can email you the actual file if you wish.

Good luck.
