Dear members,

I tried installing RHEL 6 from iso image mounted on my cdrom in VMWare 9. My kickstart file is in usb so i used command;

Quote:
linux ks=hd:sdb1/ks.cfg
the setup reads my ks.cfg and after formatting partitions it gives me this error, please see in attachment.

please tell me whats going wrong and how to fix it.

if you press ctrl-alt-f2, f3, f4 you should be able to see more specific error related output.

Look for clues there.

Thanks for the tip. Here is the output which gives clue that cd rom is not identified or something but i didn't get much out of it. Hope it helps you to diagnose. Please see the attachment.
