Question Keyboard Shortcut to Terminal

Hello Peeps,

New to Linux, installed RedHat Enterprise v4 yestarday with very little knowledge. Going on a course in January to hopefully teach me alot more. Ive read a few threads on here trying to find out what i need but cant find anything.

So on with the question.

There are alot of keyboard shortcuts to various things Alt+F2 = Run Command, ctrl+alt+F1-6 to get to virtual terminals.

Is there a keyboard short cut to get to the terminal window rather than the ctrl+alt+F1 etc.. or a way to bind a shortcut to get this?

Im using Gnome

Thanks

I think the easiest way to do it is through the gnome control center, look under your keyboard options and I think you'll find shortcut configurations there.

I dont have 'Run a Terminal' in the list of keyboard shortcuts.

Is there a way of creating a new one?

Thanks
