Keyboard Configuration Red Hat 9

Hi, I'm using RH9, with a us international keyboard, and I need the dead keys (i'm from Brazil, and, although I use RH in english, I need to use the brazilian portuguese accents) I already tried to change the keyboard to us_deadkeys, but it was no use... can anyone help me?

I asked a similar question not long ago

I asked a similar question not long ago and didnt get any replies I am in Spain and use a Spanish keyboard but in English... the onlything I managed to do was figure out how to do the symbols with key combinations or use character map

Although there should be some way of remapping the keys you dont use right??? There must be ... it would be great to be able to use the windows keys ect for somthing useful!
