kernelmodule debugging


hi all
i am new to linux , i don't konw how to debug the kernelmodule in my pc, and also i don't know wether kgdb is installed in my pc or not ?.. if i need to install how to install my kernel version is 2.6.18 , please help me

Kdb is not installed by default, AFAIK, hit out Google with the following keywords:

and

man KDB
