kernel without uhci_hcd gives slow video.

well, I think I have problems with uhci_hcd (sometimes my computer lags and then becomes really slow, as slow as if it had crashed but if you are fast, you can press ctrl+alt+f1 and then ctrl+alt+del and then in about 20-40 min the computer has rebooted)
When I was using arch I hade compiled uhci_hcd as a module and when loading it it (sometimes) crashed my usb keyboard and mouse.

Now I installed gentoo, in witch I compiled uhci_hcd into the kernel, this is a bit better, coz if the computer crashes at startup it hasn't loaded the filesystems yet.
When it crashes at startup it gives me this message (or, the last thing it says is)
Code:

uhci_hcd 0000:00:1d.0 Intel Corporation 82801EB/ER (ICH5/ICH5R) USB UHCI Controller #1
Well, I tried to compile a kernel without uhci_hcd at all, computer started fine and all, xorg took much longer to load (i use nvidia module and the nvidia screen was on alot longer than usual) only the middle button in my mouse worked (I have usb mouse) and when playing songs in xmms the display lagged (both the thing that "shows" the music and the one that shows the title)

And one weird thing was, if I moved my mouse constantly xmms display went on fine (no lag)

Well, my question is almost like an if/else statement coz, I'd like to have uhci_hcd but without the crashing, and if that isn't possible I want a kernel without uhci_hcd and also without the side-effects I got from removing it.

Thankyou for your time.

OK, I'll try once more (wonder if I'd get more people to read my thread by naming it 'HELP I NEED HELP PLEEAASEE!!!!!!!!!') and then I guess I'll try something else than linux, because this problem is killing me!

I will try to explain in a good way now.
I don't use kernel 2.4 because when I copy big files the computer almost hangs until filetransfer is finished
I don't use uhci_hcd with 2.6 because I think it is the cause of the miserable crashes my computer has.
Now to the real problem, if I don't compile uhci_hcd the computer works fine, except xmms - and other video applications that don't use opengl wich lags, well xmms plays music fine but as long as I'm not pressing any buttons or moving my mouse the roller that shows the song title lags, it jumps and does not go as smooth as it should.
Well, when i start warcraft3 through cedega it seems to work fine, but instead the sound lags! and video seems fine (except it gets alot faster when I'm moving my mouse - and of course the sound lag also disappears when doing that)

I truly hope someone will try to help me with this, because I have NO idea on how to fix it.
