kernel version


Hi all

how do i find out if my kernel is ok for quota and what version i have

running Fedora Core 2 , would it be some thing like this 2.6.5-1.358

quota seem to load at boot
and i see its install

rpm -qa | grep quota
quota-3.10-2

Type uname -a at the console to get the version of your kernel.

tommy I would suggest grabibng the 2.6.8.1-ck from linux-militia.net they have a long how to on how to install that performance version of the kernel in fedora. It made my computer 3x faster on compiles and upped my fps by 20 in most games.
