kernel panic - not syncing


Hello,
Hi every one,

I tried to replacing/ghost a centos 4.2 system to a new system(second/backup server), but i'm gettng error while boot-up

the new messages says:

uncompressing linux..ok, booting the kernel.

i've tried change grub.conf also not working.

pls help me in this issue

It seems like where your root= is mounted has changed look at the new disk layout and point it to the correct one.
