Question kernel or fstab ?

Hi

I have two distincts hard disks (a SATA disk where win XP and REDHAT 9 are installed) and an IDE disk where any OS is installed, just my dowload files, this IDE disk is a fat32 disk.

On win XP, it's easy to use it. But it's impossible on REDHAT.
So i tryed to changed /etc/fstab and add the followinf line :

/dev/hda /dowloads fat32 noauto ...

but an error message appears :" fat32 is not supported by kernel"
I tryed to changes with vfat and auto, no result, the same message appears.

How can I do to use my IDE disk on REDHAT?

Thanks for your help!

You need to specify a partition ID.
/dev/hda1 /downloads vfat umask=000, noauto, users 0 0
