kernel options and iptables

Hi!
I'm trying to get a sensible set of rules for iptables, so I decided to read the "iptables-tutorial"...
but I have a question:
in order to get some interesting features of iptables you have to have the proper kernel configuration options enabled, but I didn't compile the kernel (slackware did it for me) so
how can I know which options were chosen when the slack kernel was compiled?

slack 9.1; kernel 2.4.22

there should be a config-<kernel version> file in /boot, you can load it up in kernel configuration(make menuconfig/xconfig) and have a look.

... I don't understand what you mean with

but you have remind me, that in KDE-control-center you can find the kernel configuration
:o
Thank you for your quick reply!
