Red face Kernel-Module version mismatch

Sairam to all
I am new to RTLinux
I have created a module called "simple".

Which just prints Hello World message when its is loaded
And tells Bye when its is removed

I am using VMWare
In which I am working on RedHat Linux
The following error :
KERNEL - MODULE MISMATCH
simple.o was compiled for kernel version 2.4.20
while this kernel is version 2.4.20-8.

Code is :simple.c

#define _KERNEL_
#define MODULE
#include <linux/kernel.h>
#include <linux/module.h>

int init_module(void)
{
printk("\n Hello World ");
return 0;
}

void cleanup_module(void)
{
printk("\n GoodBye ,world ");
return;
}

Welcome to LQ.

You may want to use the source 2.4.20-8 instead of 2.4.20.

Example, source code 2.4.20-8
http://rpm.pbone.net/index.php3?stat...4.20-8.src.rpm

Remarks : Redhat 9 is very old, all support
and update stopped many years ago.
