Kernel messages


Hi!
Where can I find the kernel messages on my suse 8.2? I need to review them.

Is "dmesg" what you're looking for?

the only dmesg I could find was an executable at /bin. I refer to that messages the kernel prints at the screen during initialization.
Where can I find it?

yea executing dmesg will output the kernel bootup messages
or take a look at /var/log/messages
