kernel: hda: status error

Hello,

I'm having seriously problems on one of my servers, the customer is restarting the machine because he says "the service stop working and i have to press restart button on the server"

This is what i have seen on the /var/log/messages

The OS is CentOS. Is this a Hard disk drive error?

First thing with such HDD errors is usually to check the cables.

Is it a IDE or SATA drive? SATA drives are espeically vulnerable to cable connection problems, both SATA cable and SATA power supply cable. So you can check them or even replace them.
