Kernel Compiled Messed Up

I m using FC3. I compiled the kernel and got messed with X. Now X is not starting and giving the following error when I issue startx

(EE) GARTInit: Unable to open /dev/agpgart (No such file or directory)

(EE)I810(0): AGPGART support is not available. Make sure your kernel has agpgart support or that the agpgart kernel module is loaded.

(EE) Screen(s) found, but none have a usable configuration

fatal server error
no screen found

Thanks a lot for helping

Hello!

Your kernel works like it should have, but when you compiled it you forgot to add support for AGP. To fix this problem, you can compile your kernel again or you can use insmod.

It should be in the graphics section although I can't recall exact location. Just a suggestion, why not compile the latest kernel instead of 2.6.9?

You should take tuxrules' advice here. It's always best to take the newest version if possible
