I have tried both 12.0 and 13.0 im getting the same error.
Then i tried installing Fedora and still got the same error..
My laptop has 8gb RAM. so i don't think so RAM would be an issue.

Have you checked your virtual machine settings to see how much ram has been assigned? You may have a lot of physical RAM but that doesn't mean that you have enough virtual RAM.
You might also want to try reinstalling vmware, a faulty installation could be causing the problem.

Ok I'll try re installing the vmware software...
About Fedora i have no idea about its support, i am facing this error for both ubuntu and fedora.. which ever Unix flavour i try to install it gives the same error.
windows 7 is getting installed easily but.
