keep owner after reboot

realy stupid question, but...

Anyways
OpenSuSE 10.3
antoher disk attached (/dev/sdb) with windows data

I have changed fstab
added :
/dev/sdb1 /data ntfs rw,users 0 0

created /data folder and given owneship to user mglog (chown -R mglog /data)

when I reboot, (autologin as mglog user), I see /data mounted, but I can not acces, since owner is root (again).

So the question is, how can I keep ownership to folder that is mountpoint, after reboot?

this has solved the issue

seems that when everybody can mount it, he does not know who is the owner

thanks again

Actually the users mount parameter tells it that any user can unmount the filesystem but it does not tell it anything about who own the files. Whatever is in fstab is mounted by root but anyway, if you don't put the uid option, the files are owned by root and not readable by somebody else.
You can also change the group and the umask. Try man mount and search for "Mount options for ntfs" for more informations.
