I use Debian/sid CLI, Xfce and JWM on my newish laptop with i5 for battery life and another install jessie with KDE as ^shown^ like a desktop\entertainment-center HDMIed to other screens while charging.

Add: It's kinda funny how bloatware rimes with cycles to spare.
