KDE Uninstall

I need to know how to uninstall KDE. I have had a faulty installation, and need to know how to uninstall it so I can reinstall properly. I have Fedora Core 2.

Thanks,

insert the first CD of Fedora Core.

You will then be presented with the add/remove programs display. Uncheck KDE and then it will uninstall.

Excellent. I will let you know how it goes. Thanks for the quick answer.

This didnt work. Anyone have any other ideas on how to remove KDE so I can reinstall it?

click on the "Add/remove Applications" from the "settings" menu

That doesnt allow you to remove the installation of KDE. That just allows you to remove the extra components.

reinstall KDE on top of itself...........the "bad" files will be
overwritten by the "new" ones.

Now how would you recommend I do that?

I dont know any way to install KDE other than through the add/remove option and it certainly doesnt allow me to reinstall from there. I am going to assume this is going to have to do with running a certain RPM from the disc 1 or something.

Please let me know how I should go about this. I hadnt even thought of re-installing over the top I am ashamed of myself hehe. I guess I just threw everything I have learned out the door when I got on linux thinking everything was different or something.
