KDE shortcuts

I have KDE in Hebrew. Whenever I need to use a keyboard shortcut, I
must switch over to English, perform the shortcut, then switch back to
Hebrew. How can I set up KDE to recognize the shortcuts in Hebrew,
like Windows does?

For instance, CTRL-ב should be recognized as CTRL-C for "copy". I
don't want to remap all the shortcuts in all the applications
(including non-KDE apps such as Firefox). Is this maybe an X.org
issue, and should I maybe ask there?

Thanks in advance.

Dotan, you have probably just solved your problem all by yourself. don't you just love Linux. You might also find some information in the man pages for your language.

Any Hebrew speakers who can help Dotan? Come on folks, speak up.

Best I can offer, sorry.

regards and happy hanaka.

PS. No, I am not of your faith, but does that really matter when help is needed? I hope not.

Kde Control Center - Regional & Accessibility - Keyboard Shortcuts. You should be able to define or redefine shortcuts there.

@shorty943: No, faith doesn't matter when people want to help each other. Only when they want to hurt each other! I'm being cynical, of course, as I really do believe that it's the leaders that want to hurt us, not the average citizen.

@bigrigdriver: I'd rather not redefine keys for each and every shortcut. One reason is that that would only work with KDE apps.
