KDE network notifier
 
After 1 year working under gnome I switched to KDE. KDE is more complext than gnome but I couldn't find an applet for monitoring my internet connection like the one in gnome. I think there must be an applet available in KDE for this purpose.
I woulf be glad, if you give me directions.

Yaar!get back to GNOME,Now GNOME really started rocking! with gnome-2.14 released..
kinternet is there na..
kdeadmin,kde-network also should be needed to be installed then check...

The default one is usually ksysguard which can monitor almost anything, including networking. Also theres KNetDockApp for simpler network monitoring. Try KDE Apps for new stuff.

how is it possible to add netowrk notificator icon to the panel?

Right click on an empty part of the panel ( or a control separator ) and select "Add applet to panel..." then select which of the network applets you want to use.

Goto KDE Apps goto network theres plently of applets, pick one you like install it, and add it to the panel as above.
