KDE crashes at startup when it gets to peripherals
I just installed Debian 3 and I can't get KDE to work. Gnome works fine, but when I try to log in to KDE it goes to the loading screen and crashes when it gets to the "initializing peripherals" part and sends me back to the login screen. I looked in the XFree86.0.log file and it gives some error messages about the mouse and fonts at the end. This is what it looks like:
(EE) xf86OpenSerial: Cannot open device /dev/input/mice
No such device.
(EE) Generic Mouse: cannot open input device
(EE) PreInit failed for input device "Generic Mouse"
(II) UnloadModule: "mouse"
(II) XINPUT: Adding extended input device "Configured Mouse" (type: MOUSE)
(WW) Cannot open APM

PEXExtensionInit: Couldn't open default PEX font file Roman_M

Does anyone know what is wrong?
