KDE apps crashing on close
 

Recently my apps like Konqueror and Konsole have been crashing when I click the close button.
Better on the close then on the open I guess but still annoying.

The only thing that I've done was create a new qt directory (3.0.5), install the source files there and complie Qt.

I left all the other old directories in place and did not fiddle with them. I added a QTDIR export to my .bash_profile.

But even when I remove that export things still crash on close.

I really don't think that any of the above things I did should effect KDE. I could see if I replaced one of the old libs with 3.0.5, but i didn't.

Any ideas on how i can correct this problem.

Open kcontrol, find module web browser. There should be plugins section, click on it. When it opens click on tab Plugins. There is an option "Use artsdsp to blah, blah" uncheck it. Save change and konqueror shouldn't crash on exit any more.
