KDE and Gnome applications in XFCE

I've installed Slackware 10.0 to my computer and am dual booting with Win98. Since this is a slow computer, I don't want to run KDE or Gnome, so I'm trying to figure out which WM I'm going to use, currently it's XFCE. However, I do want to use some of the KDE applications. For instance, I'm having problems getting WVDial to work properly, I'll get it figured out, but I need a work around right now. I have kppp working fine, but would I be able to use this in XFCE?

Generally, are you able to use KDE apps in Gnome and vice verse?

You can use KDE or GNOME apps in XFCE and yes, you can use KDE apps (hmm, they should really be called Qt apps, I think) in GNOME and vice versa. The only problem I have when trying to use KDE apps in XFCE is that any text in the window (whether it's on the menu bar, or something else) is quite large. It's not that big a deal, I guess. It works, that's the main thing :).
