KDE and GNOME

I have been using KDE for quite some time but would really like to give Gnome a shot just to see what its all about. Installing Gnome in Debian is going to be a cakewalk, but I was wondering how you go about setting it up so that I can select between the two at startup though something like KDM.

you can modify KDM though the KDE Control Panel thing. one option being: creating additional entries for new WMs on the pulldown menu in KDM. I cant remember the path, but I think its under system administration somewhere
